Resume Preparation Purpose • Marketing tool to sell YOU • Style and length can vary —depends on the type of job and type of business you are applying for • Target the resume specifically to the job you are applying for • Basic requirements: Name, contact information, related skills & experience, education & training • KEY POINT: write your resume in civilian terms and avoid military jargon
