Knowing Jesus “Lots of scripture .. the narrow way... Narrow not because of the letter of the law (although important) narrow because it is as narrow as the shoulders of Christ, he holds out his arms to widen and welcome ..narrow because He is the only way! Some of us that go through all the mechanics and never find his heart or know him will not be recognized because we have to know him and he has to know us! There is no other way!”
1 John 2:1-6 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. 3Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

(Acts 11:12-14) • No matter how good, all have sinned (Romans 3:23, 6:23) • Salvation only found in Christ (Ephesians 1:3) by means of His blood (Acts 4:12, 1 Peter 1:18-19)
Salvation is based on knowledge of and obedience to God’s word. • John 8:31-36 • John 8:44-47 Who we hear tells true heritage • Nature of the devil is to lie – Father of liars • If we abide in sin, we follow the devil • Those who are of God hear His words • 1 John 4:6 We are of God.
