Re-read the article you have chosen as the best in explaining your viewpoint. • What is the issue? • What background information is needed for us to understand the issue? • What position have YOU taken? • What is your reasoning? Prepare to share
Presenter speaks and others are allowed to ONLY listen. • After the presentation, we are allowed to ask questions to seek information. (HOW and WHY questions are best.) • It is never the goal to belittle the speaker for holding the position. • Each person asks one question. Soapbox
The presenter is to jot notes, not answer. • After all group members have posed their questions, then the original presenter can respond to any of the questions he or she chooses. • Now it is time for presenter #2! Soapbox
