Description: Length: 6.5-12.75 in. Adult broadhead skinks are usually olive-brown and male broadhead skinks have orange-red heads. Young broadhead skinks are usually dark brown with 5-7 yellow stripes and have a blue tail. It is also said that the broadhead skink can give a powerful nip if threatened.
