Diagnosis Other Tests Urine Samples For the swabs, they get the specimen, then send it to a lab to be checked.
Male Symptoms • These symptoms are fore males. They have less of them then women.
Female Symptoms These symptoms are for women – whom have more symptoms then men
If left Untreated - Males • The only thing that can happen if left untreated for guys… • Inflammation of urethra and epididymis.
If left Untreated - Females • Infection of urethra • Inflammation of cervix • Can also lead to PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease)

Means of Transmission • A person can get Chlamydia by… • Vaginal Intercourse • Anal Intercourse • And Oral Intercourse
Treatment • According to the CDC, Chlamydia can be treated and cured by antibiotics: • Azithromycin • Doxycycline • Also according to the CDC, 95% of people are cured after 1 week of antibiotics.
How to protect against Chlamydia • Choose Abstinence!!! • If you choose to be sexual active – USE A CONDOM!!!!
