  4. What the Basilisk eats • Fish • Fruits • Bugs • Small Invertebrates Slide 4

  5. What they look like & their behavior THEY HAVE : • Long toes • Fringes on their feet • Sail-like crests Behavior : When threatened they jump into the water and run across it. When it is hungry it walks on the water to get to a different destination, or to get food. Slide 5

  6. If I move the Basiliskto the Arctic over 1000 years it’s body will change. Slide 6

  8. The Iceilisk's Adaptations The Arctic Basilisk has many adaptations it uses to survive. Some of them are : • White fur so it can camouflage in or by the snow so it can hide from predators. • Fluffy padding around fringes so it can walk around on the ice without slipping ( It can still walk on water). Slide 8

  9. More Facts About The Iceilisk's Adaptations They Have : • Sharp teeth because they are meat eaters. • A clear eyelid so it can see when there is a snowstorm or when it is swimming in the water. Slide 9
