  4. Direction Setting Direction To set direction for a SmartOffice effort, we work with you to determine: • How do you make money? How will this effort help? • What are you trying to do with your business? • Is E-Z Data a good solution for this goal? How? If not “perfect”, how does it compare to alternatives? • Is what you want to do a good business decision? • If E-Z Data is a good fit, what will you need to do to implement it? • How will you know if the resulting effort is a success? What measures can be used? What capabilities can be observed? E-Z Data Confidential

  5. Process Establishing Process After direction is set, we help set up the project effort to succeed by learning: • How is your business currently run? Organized? • Who are you customers? How do you communicate with them? • Who are your carriers/partners? How do you communicate with them? • What are the current issues with your business operations? • How can we improve what you do? • What will change in your processes following a successful SmartOffice implementation? • What is the plan for implementing change? How will we handle overlapping capabilities? • Does SmartOffice support functional/technical requirements? What enhancements may be needed? • Is there a data conversion required? Adoption Achieving Adoption No effort is successful unless it is adopted and used, so we help determine: • Who will use the new system? • What do people need to know to use the system for their respective roles/responsibilities? • How will users learn the system? What is the training approach? • When will they need to learn what?
