Woodridge Wrestling 4440 Quick Road Peninsula, OH 44264 Dear Parents, The wrestling team will be staying at the following address for the Potter Classic this weekend: East Liverpool Motor Lodge2340 Dresden Ave.East Liverpool, Ohio 43920 330-386-5858 The team will be leaving school at 12:00 on Friday. Only Varsity wrestlers and extras that may get into the tournament are traveling. Weigh-ins are at 2:00 and wrestling begins at 4:00. Saturday, wrestling will begin at 10:00 am. We will be traveling by school bus. All wrestlers are expected to travel to and from all team functions with the team unless there are special circumstances requiring that they leave. Any wrestler experiencing academic problems will not be making the trip. We hope that you will emphasize to your son the importance of their absolute best behavior while on this trip. I can assure you that we will. While this trip is designed to be an enjoyable experience for your son and build team unity, he needs to understand that it is a school-sponsored event and that he is there to compete. Because of your efforts with last years Stammen Tournament, we will be able to cover the cost of the rooms at the hotel. Your son will, however, be responsible for food. Saturday night we may stop for a team meal. Expect your son home very late Saturday night. Please encourage your son to make sure he has a cell phone and charger for the trip. Coach Hampshire and I have taken wrestlers on more than 50 overnight trips and we anticipate no problems.
