  1. Abigail Parker 3rd period April 30,2013 Perseverance and kindness

Perseverance • Steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement. • A time that I had to persevere in something to accomplish was when I was in gymnastics. We were at state, and I had to do a routine for the judges. The routine was really hard, and I had to persevere.

  3. Kindness • Having, showing, or proceeding from benevolence. • A random act of kindness would be, when an older person is carrying groceries from the store but cant open the door, so you grab it for them.

  4. Giving Your Best • Something I got out of doing my best, is feeling my best, knowing I did what I could. A feeling of accomplishment. • Yes, I am wholehearted in my endeavors.

  5. Preparing For The Rain • To prepare for the rain is to be ready to face any obstacles or challenges you may face in your life. • A time I felt like I was in the desert is when I had a test the next day and hadn't studied, I wasn’t prepared. I felt like I was hopeless, Like I was going to fail.

  6. Attempt The Impossible • I am willing to attempt the impossible in school. I want to go to a really good college so bad that I am willing to do anything. I want to do my best in school, because school sets up your whole life.

  7. Keep On Pushing • When I am in the midst of defeat it makes me push harder. Makes me want to try harder. I am a competitive, so I have to win or at least give my best.

  8. Criticizer Or Encourager • I don’t criticize people if they did their best. I encourage them and tell them how good they did instead of how bad. I try to be a good winner or looser and not make them feel bad or make them think their best isn't enough.

  9. Past Effects The Future • The choices made today or earlier in life will probably effect your future. If you were to drop out of school in 11th grade, you wouldn’t get as good of a job as you would if you continued all they way through collage. OR
