The Process • Contact Amber Krieg (adk5@psu.edu or 814-865-5742) • Work collaboratively to identify the gift vehicle that works best for your group • Establish a fundraising strategy • Establish guidelines • Secure pledges and gifts • Work with Student Aid to award scholarship when fund is endowed
Considerations • Strong, consistent group leadership? • Group support of initiative? • “Who” do you want to support? • Preferences—county, major, etc? • Need-based and/or merit-based? • What level of involvement does the group want?
