(Swets) • The ALPSP Learned Journals Collection (in partnership with Swets) is an initiative whereby smaller ALPSP member publishers work together, through Swets, to sell a combined package of their journals to consortia and other large customers • Swets is the world’s leading information services company. ALJC 2008 Collection Details • Quality of the collection • 90% of the titles included in the Collection are peer reviewed journals • Many are ranked in the top of their group for ISI Impact Factor • Many are official journals of the societies • Approximately 40% of the collection is indexed in ISI • The remaining 60% represent practical application and/or interdisciplinary journals • 100% are indexed in SwetsWise

Licensing • A Single License Approach to content from multiple publishers • Based on the John Cox License model • Institutions may: • Provide single printed or electronic copies of single articles at the request of individual Authorised Users • Supply to another library a single copy of an individual document • Authorised Users may: • Search, view, retrieve and display the Licensed Materials • Electronically save individual articles or items of the Licensed Materials for personal use • Print off a copy of parts of the Licensed Materials
