Creating your first mind map! • Start with a main central image/idea • Draw thick branches off your main idea – on these branches place your main topics/categories - PRINT the key words ON THE BRANCH • From your main topics branch off with subtopics – PRINT the key words ON THE BRANCH • From the subtopics branch off with details and sub details to support your sub topics • Use: KEYWORDS,COLOUR, DRAWINGS,SYMBOLS,ABBREVIATIONS.
