TIAC at Thailand Science Park • Provides information service: biotechnology, material sciences, electronic and computer technology, nanotechnology and science and technology policy • Focuses on management of local content, organizational knowledge repository, opening access to knowledge, upgrading information literacy skills to S&T human resources from grass-root to research scholars to achieve international competitiveness

  3. TIAC by NSTDA • Under the National Science and Technology Development Agency • Ministry of Science and Technology • Government Enterprise • Financed by the Royal Thai Government and the Fund for Science and Technology Development • Founded 1989

  4. NSTDA Vision • A learning organization that aims to strengthen and enhance the S&Tcapabilities in areas critical to national economic and social development

  5. TIAC Vision • Leadership in Science and Technology knowledge and information service, S&T information resources management for research and innovation for national economic growth and to improve S&T competitiveness

TIAC Mission • Management of information and library service to NSTDA community and MOST library network as well as the public • Information literacy skill enhancement for researchers and S&T information users to be able to use the new ICT for knowledge-based working environment • Knowledge Repository for NSTDA Knowledge Management
