Over 1700 homes have been identified as not claiming the correct benefits worth £2.26m Annual average increase of £1,400 p.a Oil central heating will be launched shortly Annual budget of nearly £20m of which an additional £5m has been allocated to tackling fuel poverty amongst the elderly. HEES the story so far ………

  3. HEES and Social Housing Putting communities first • We have seen a steady reduction in: • the volume of social housing benefiting from the programme • applications for HEES funding

HEES Spend in Social Housing Putting communities first • Performance by the Social Housing sector against its allocated budget has year on year continued to under perform • Despite an increased HEES budget this year, the social housing allocation has remained static due to the significant under spend last year

Social Housing Allocation 2006 / 07 HEES funding has been allocated to • Blaenau Gwent • Caerphilly • Carmarthen • Ceredigion • Conwy • Denbighshire • Flintshire • Gwynedd • Monmouthshire • Neath Port Talbot • Pembrokeshire • Rhondda Cynon Taff • Swansea • Vale of Glamorgan • Wrexham Deadline for submitting referrals is 30th June2006 Monies will be reallocated in September rewarding those who have spent their HEES allocation and require additional funding.
