What is the OECD? • An Organisation of 30 member countries committed to democracy and the market economy • A provider of comparative data, analysis and forecasts • so that governments can: - compare policy experiences - seek answers to common problems - identify good practice - co-ordinate policies

OECD.Stat – Interactive statistical resource • Cross data-base browser allowing simple and quick searching across all OECDs statistical databases • Functionality to select dimension, time, countries, and other variables and build own statistical tables using OECDs extensive statistical information • Functionality to choose and change display mode and re-arrange the layout for statistical tables, charts and diagrams • Functionality to mix and merge data from several statistical databases and build customized tables

  37. Transition from SourceOECD to OECDiLibrary • Phase 1: Launch of preliminary version of OECDiLibrary with all content in place except IEA Statistics. Implementation of all functionality (adminstrative features, user stats, marc-records). • Phase 2: OECDiLibrary ready available in its full version with all functionality and content in place. Transition of all current customers to OECDiLibrary. (SourceOECD will continue to be there as a back-up). • Phase 3: OECD iLibrary becoming the only access point and SourceOECD being closed off.
