  3. Design Ideas • Design should never say, look at me. It should always say, Look at this” - David Craib. • Navigation • Mockups +initial designs + sketch • Easy clean interface • Artwork focused

  4. Comparison Home page Original Redesign • Accessibility • We decided to design the site to be light with contrasting colours and dark, • Clean fonts so that the site can be clearly viewed by anyone including users who cannot see colour or read text on colours well.

  5. Public Gallery Original Redesign • Usability • Albums for individual artists • Dashboard style interface • Added quick view mode to view artists photos • Responsive Design

  6. Edit Image Area Original Redesign • Navigation • Consistent (dashboard style) navigation throughout • Use of lists and large icons • jQuery user interaction

  8. Image Navigation Original Redesign • Client requirements: • The client wanted clear navigation buttons to cycle through the artwork. • Using arrow navigation instead of numerical navigation.

  12. Conclusion • We feel that we have met the client requirements set out at the start of the design process. • We have redesigned the site to be more efficient and aesthetically pleasing without taking away the attention of the artwork.
