CLEANER PRODUCTION PROGRAMME O B J E C T I V E To increase the competitiveness and the productive capacity of developing and transition countries and to contribute to facilitating the market access of these economies through the application of Cleaner Production techniques and technologies to contribute to the well-being of present and future generations.

  4. The UNIDO CP Programme has obtained funding of over 30 million USD. Main donors are Switzerland and Austria, providing 60 % of the total funding. Other donors are: Norway, Netherlands,Italy, Sweden, UK, Czech Republic, Japan and the European Union CLEANER PRODUCTION PROGRAMME P R O G R A M M E F U N D S

CLEANER PRODUCTION PROGRAMME H O L I S T I C C P A P P R O A C H The new holistic and sectorial CP approach of UNIDO focuses on the entire production cycle, fosters the efficient utilization of waste to design and produce innovative environmentally and economically sound products and enhances the development and transfer of economically feasible and environmentally sound technologies.
