Field Interviews 2009 & 2013 • In 2009 and 2013 (combined) nearly half, 45.7% of all FI’s occurred between in the 6 hour timespan between 10pm and 5am. • 96% of FI’s were completed with adults • 98% had no warrants in their name • 59% had prior arrests

Resident Survey Results • The following results are compiled from 219 resident surveys that were completed in July 2014 • Residents from 38 different blocks are represented in the sample. 69% of respondents live in the CNI area and 31% live in the blocks immediately around the CNI area. • Length of time respondents have lived in the area ranges from 4 days to 88 years • 83% of respondents rent their homes/apartments
Resident Survey Results Of those who completed the survey: • 62% are women • Age of respondents ranges from 18 to 88; average age is 44. • 56% are single; 20% married; 10% divorced; 10% widowed • 83% have a 12th grade education or higher • 26% are in school or a training program now • 81% are African American • 59% are employed either full time or part time • 8% are disabled; 13% are retired • 23% are currently looking for work • 34% have in income of less than $10,000; 57% have an income of $10,001 to $30,000
