  3. Create a query Open your catalogue table Click on the Create Tab Create a Query Design

  4. Add your Catalogue data table Add in all your fields by double clicking

  5. Entering criteria For a simple search, choose one thing on the CRITERIA ROW: e.g. Category: “Shoes” Year: <2000 Price: >=30 Notice that when you search for words in your query you use quotation marks. Notice also how you do not need to use the £ sign for price Printscreen this search criteria in a Word or Powerpoint file

  6. Create queries and create 2 printscreens to show the criteria and results • All clothing which costs more than £5 • All shoes made before the year 2000, larger than a size 4 • All Accessories made after 1999, costing £5 or more.

  7. Create a report To create a report, change the view of your query to Datasheet view and then simply click: Create-> Report You will be asked to save your query. Give it a sensible name. Format it the same as you did your form last week: Design view: To Design i.e. fonts and colour Layout view: To Layout i.e. re-arrange/reposition Report view: To View/Print ADD YOUR NAME AND PRINT YOUR FINISHED REPORT

  8. Homework Print and label your query printscreen and your finished report: Explain what you are searching for in your query Explain the design of your report (fonts, colours, layout, title, pictures)
