2. Where it lives • Tigers used to be native to all of Asia but there shrinking numbers have them native to eastern and southern Asia. They are solitary animals this is manly because were they live.

3. What they eat • Tigers are manly carnivores which means the eat other animals. They can consume up to 40 LBS in one sitting, and after eating they don’t eat for several days. There diet mostly consists of moose, deer, pigs, cows, horses, buffalos and goats. Occasionally they may consume tapirs, elephant and rhinoceros calves, bears, leopards and Asiatic wild dogs.

4. What kills them • Tigers don’t have predators hunting them but man. Tigers are poached and killed for there striped fur. Governments are trying to stop people from hunting the beasts but have not successively done so.

5. How will having it effect the environment. • Tigers keep animal populations to a minimum but because there numbers are limited there prays numbers have drastically gone up.

6. What is being doe to protect them • Countries are making parks to protect them from poachers and breeding them in captivity to increase there numbers. Till there numbers are sufficient enough to be relieved back into the wild

7. How we could raise there numbers • We need to make parks in other counties that they live in like yellow stone so that there numbers will get bigger.

8. Status • A tigers life span is about 10 – 15 years. There are only about 5,000 – 7,000 tigers left in the wild. 3 tiger spices are already extinced.
