This study examines the association between newborn birthweight, mother's region of origin, and destination country integration policies, using data from 10 destination countries. The study analyzes policy indicators within 8 areas to measure integration policies and explores the influence of these policies on birthweight. Results show that integration policy is associated with infant birthweight among some migrant groups, with the Migrant Integration Policy Index explaining 44-55% of the variation, depending on maternal region of origin. This study highlights the importance of integration policies in promoting positive birth outcomes for migrant women.
