What is the Climate like? The eastern woodlands, dense forest of birch ,oak , and maple trees protected deer and other animals.
What are the natural resources? The woodland forest included birch ,oak ,and maple trees. Plentiful rains created many streams and lakes.
What are some Artifacts? Their houses were called wigwams. To make them they bent small trees into a dome-shape frame. Animals provided clothing such as capes made of turkey feathers.
What Adaptations did They Have? The area had four quite different seasons, including cold winters and hot summers.
Do you have any facts for us ? This region stretched from the Mississippi to the Atlantic ocean. It ran from the great lakes to the Ohio valley. The native Americans settles among its hill and mountains , in valleys, and along the sea coasts.
