  2. E-Portfolio • As students work through their Instructional Technology coursework at The University of Akron, they will compile an electronic portfolio of artifacts and field experiences to be completed by their final semester.

  4. Now for the question everyone is asking… Will the change from Technology Facilitator to Coaching Standards affect my Portfolio Requirements?

  5. The Answer is NO! • As shown by Team Designovation, the Technology Facilitator Standards do align with the new Coaching Standards. • This means that the course artifacts will also align with the new Coaching Standards.

  6. Current Students • You have already completed your Alignment Document for the Technology Facilitator Standards. • Using the resources we provide, see how the standards align with the new Coaching Standards and reorganize your Alignment Document accordingly.

  7. New Students • In the Introduction to Instructional Technology course, you will complete your Alignment Document utilizing the new Coaching Standards. • In doing so, you will organize your course artifacts for the Electronic Portfolio.

  8. NEW ARTIFACT! • There is a new artifact that is being developed that will be completed during the Introduction to Instructional Technology course. • It is a Personal Learning Network or PLN. • Look for more information soon!
