Booz Allen would provide the VII network infrastructure and services • VII Network Infrastructure: • Service Delivery Node (SDN) contains server platforms, data stores, software systems, local network management component, and Network Access Point (NAP) to support VII System data distribution and communications services • Enterprise Network Operations Center (ENOC) provides centralized monitoring and control function for the VII Network and all (non-mobile) VII System components • Certificate Authority (CA) issues and manages security credentials and public and private keys for message encryption and decryption • Majority of this infrastructure is currently being funded by the USDOT, as part of the Detroit VII Proof-of-Concept test….but additional equipment is needed in preparing the infrastructure for the Demo • Services: • Integrate the RSEs, roadside infrastructure, and communications (provided by other Demo participants) into the VII network infrastructure • Support (but not perform) end-to-end systems integration and testing of the back-office and on-board applications, by providing “hooks” or interfaces into the VII network infrastructure • Issue security certificates and keys for field infrastructure and back-office applications • Perform network monitoring and management functions during the Demo • In addition, we are also considering providing a couple of applications…to be determined 2008 ITS World Congress Demo - Booz Allen Role Proprietary Information
