Schlieffen Plan • Alfred von Schlieffencreatethis plan • It was Germany's only plan for war • Plan: go through Belgium and defeat France than go East front and beat Russia • Whythe plan failure • Russian mobilize his forces quicker as expected • Belgians had refused permission Germans go through Belgium - so they had to fight • France was supported by British army • All in all worse position for Germany as before
