Objectives • Create a timeline identifying key events in the American Revolution and describing them • Identify the chief characteristics of the 13 colonies • Describe how growing discontent led to the American Revolution • Summarize how the new Constitution reflected the ideas of Enlightenment

  3. Warm up • How did the actions of King George III lead to discontent in the American Colonies? • More taxes after the 7 Years War • Then more laws to enforce the taxes
