CR traker news • The design of the carpet under the floor has been almost completed • It is inheriting the R&D for a new series of chambers to be installed in ATLAS • All materials available for construction • Order ready to be placed to the factory • Will be produced in tail to the ATLAS chambers • Still open option about reading from only one of the short sides • Front End electronic boards have been reserved for this chamber and are under test in Roma • The delivery of the chamber should be for the autumn. Need to avoid clash with the Atlas production which is time critical due to the tight installation schedule • AIDA installation schedule, in particular for the floor?

Conclusions • Ready for production of the CR carpet under floor • When is reasonable to transport the detector to CERN? • Can we check the schedule for the installation or in alternative a storage at CERN? • Not before the autumn 2013 • Next steps will concern the ceiling tracker which production is scheduled early 2014
