Overview • Independent, non-profit research organization • Will be one of the largest genomics and bioinformatics facilities in North America • Brings together strength of NY’s world-class academic medical and research centers with leading pharmaceutical and technology companies • Raised over $110 million in funding to date • Expects to create over 500 direct, high-level science jobs in five years

Output by the numbers • Over the next 5 years, NYGC will: • Hire over 500 employees (350+ in sequencing and bioinformatics) • Manage the output equivalent of >100 of today’s next-gen sequencers • Have sequenced nearly 60,000 whole human genomes and 100,000 exomes • Produce 9,000 terabytes(TB) of genomic data on behalf of our clients
