RAISE • WestEd was awarded a multi-million dollar grant through the U.S. Department of Education’s i3 competition. • Grant designed to: • Intensify professional development for secondary teachers in the Reading Apprenticeship Framework • Provide students with multiple teachers in various disciplines implementing Reading Apprenticeship practices • Determine the impact of RA on teaching practices, students’ attitudes towards reading, and reading comprehension
