Copies sent to VT Police, FBI, Homeland Security and ATF Searched through AFIS and IAFIS, negative results Positive ID made by Homeland Security (INS data base) on April 17th of Seung-Hui Cho
Emily Hilscher First victim identified by physical means and released to her family Monday night.
Independent Fingerprint ID required on each victim (personal effects) • Enhanced photograph on each victim for possible family ID • Need to explore other means of positive identification
Contacted Col. Flaherty with the Virginia State Police to inform him what personal effects would yield the best possibility for the recovery of latent prints.
LATENT FINGERPRINTS • Two examiners and a photographer assigned to the OCME • One latent examiner with photography experience to float between areas • Remaining staff would process personal effects.

Discussed Toxicology Testing • Alcohol on all victims • Full screening on Cho • Four Victims Identified Through Dental Records
Additional Personal Items Arrive • 4 victims subsequently identified • 1 victim identified through dental records
