Trainer – Interview – Guideline and Concept Target group – trainers and advisers, social workers, contact persons to enterprises, who are working in active labour market measures especially in professional orientation Following have to be decided: Survey – telephone interviews or face-to-face interviews Sample – what is a respective sample? Suggestion: interviews 20 per institute (minimum); various years of professional experience in professional orientation; various target groups?, etc.
Data collection – Trainer interviews • Semi-structured interviews, open and closed questions target of question shall be following: - to get comparative data (professional background, further qualification) - to get qualitative information (aspects to topics like communication, immigrants, recognition of qualifications, services, etc.)
List of proposed contents • Qualification in the field of intercultural communication and anti-racism (in basic education as well as further education and LLL) • Questions regarding case work, consultation processes in the context to interculturality (challenges, problems, etc) • Questions regarding interaction between the triangle labour market – professional orientation and consultancy – immigrants • Etc..
Ex-Ante-Analysis • basis for blended-learning units (app. 30-40 h) • app. 25 pages (excl. links for information/consultation services) • mainly a collection of existing material • comparative character • compilation of every chapter in a comparative way between partner countries • 6 chapters
Proposed Contents • Migration/(im)migrants and the labour market • Labour market policy in partner countries – focus on (im)migrants and possible labour market measures • Discrimination and racism at the labour market • Integration into the labour market • Opinion on different views concerning this topic • Statistical overview on immigrants at the labour market • Comparison between partner countries
2. Task of professional orientation • In the field of migration and immigrants • Interculturality in case work and consultation process (challenges, problems, etc) • The triangle labour market – professional orientation and consultancy – immigrants • Training needs analysis as basis?
3. EU and National Legislation • Overview on EU guidelines (especially last years) • Overview on National legislation (state of affaires) - Comparison of EU + National (EUMC) • Various opinions on (especially) National legislation (politicians, NGO‘s, social partners, etc) - on this a comparative analysis
4. Overview on various education systems • e. g. Turkey, SEE – main groups in partner country • Elaboration 2 – 3 systems / each partner • Source maybe OECD reports • Description about two paragraphs
5. Overview on Migration in Europe • History and state of affaires (EU) • Short country history on migration/immigrants • Literature on this topic for further reading
6. Link and Literature Collection • National consultancy and information services - from all regions, national and local authorities, NGO‘s • Legislation (state of affaires) • Literature - migration, integration theories and concepts, anti-discrimination, diversity, intercultural competence
