  2. UNITED KINGDOM • United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northem Ireland. In the composition of UK are: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland lies in the northern part of the island of Ireland. Main language in the UK is English but in use, there are: Welsh, Irish and Scottish.

  3. ENGLAND • The biggest part of the UK. The capital of England is London, and the main language is English. Head of state is Queen Elizabeth II and heir to the throne is Prince Charles. England’s patron is saint George.

  4. WALES • One of the fourparts of UK. The capital of Walesis Cardiff and the mainlanguageare English and Welsh. Head of state is Queen Elizabeth II and the first minister is Carwyn Jones. Wales’s patron is saint David.

  5. SCOTLAND • One of the fourparts of UK. The capital of Scotland isEdynburg and the mainlanguageareEnglish and Scottish. Head of state is Queen Elizabeth II and the first minister is AiligSalmond. Scotland’s patron is saint Andrew.
