  3. WP 3 objectives: • Establish the ScanBalt Campus web • Establish the ScanBalt Campus extra net for the partners • Establish the ScanBalt Campus media database and newscenter ”Education and science to the public”

  4. About ScanBalt Campus Extra net • Fast active tool with access only for project partners • Serves to facilitate dialogue between project partners

About the ScanBalt Campus Web • One-stop-entry to educational and scientific key competencies of partners • Informs of profiles, training facilities and offered units of education and training courses • Provide contact information • Post education material • Host a ”student room” informing of grants, mobility programmes, rules and regulation for studying abroad etc.

About ScanBalt Campus MediaNet ”Science and Education to the Public” • Link between actors from education/science and to both the specialized and broad media • An Internet tool for distributing news and providing answers to scientific questions from the media containing adresses of: - Information providers (e.g. partners press offices) - Information users (e.g. journalists, news agencies) • Shall generate interest among e.g students, skilled ex-patriates, investors and in general increase visibility

ScanBalt Campus Information Platform – WP Methodology • Development: BioCon Valley, Centre of Environmental Biotechnology and University of Rostock (sub contract to ScanBalt) • Other partners: Comment on draft versions, provide adresses on information users/providers, feed news and information into the system • A board to be established acting as peer reviewers to decide who can have direct access to the system
