Step 1 I crumpled the photograph and began to boil water.
Step 2 I boiled some water. Added two tea bags and a handful of mint leaves. I added salt to the mixture and left the photograph in the water overnight.
Step 3 After letting the photo sit in the tea overnight I let it dry in the sun. After it dried I mixed oxi-clean with hot water and poured it over the photograph. I also added some unmixed oxi-lean to the photo. I let all of this dry in the sun.
Step 4 I ironed the photograph with a piece of cloth over it to keep photo from melting into the iron.
Step 5 I mixed red gouache and water and painted over the photo with a sponge brush.
Step 6 I baked the photo in a toaster over. I left the photograph in the oven for about 5 minutes.
Step 7 I ripped the picture into four sections.
Step 8 I then took a picture of step 7 and brought it into photoshop. Using the filters I clicked filters then pattern maker. I selected the rip of the photograph and the body in the picture and generated a pattern.
Step 9 I printed step 8 onto transparency film. The ink was low so it printed out a pink color.
Step 10 I sprayed a piece of rives BFK heavy weight paper with water and put the transparency onto the paper ink side down.
