Crested Gecko Behavior • Most geckos are active at night when they hunt for insects • If a gecko is attacked it can distract an enemy by waving its tail • Most female geckos lay eggs
What a Crested Gecko Looks Like • They come in beautiful colors in patterns • Short flat body with small bumpy scales • Grow up to be 4 to 6 inches • Long including the tail • Cat like eye with permanently closed transparent eyelids • Toes with pads • Hair like bristles
