Who can access an electronic health record? • A patient can access their own electronic health record. • A parent can access a child’s electronic health record.
What is stored in an electronic health record? Contains health-relate information for a patient. Including: Medical history. History of surgeries. Medical tests and results. Illnesses. Medications, current and past. Allergies. Visits to a doctor. In patient hospital stays.
