Gathering Information Mrs Whitely (Parent) “Mrs Wallis explained the statementing process and gave invaluable advice to the school to enable Keira’s changing needs to be identified. This is very important for Keira’s future”.
Ella Jade Atkinson (Pupil) “Mrs Wallis helped me to think about my future, she asked me what I wanted to do when I left school and it helped me to know what would happen”.
Mrs Heaney (Teacher and SENCO) “Mrs Wallis gave me continual support especially in my new role of SENCO. She is always happy to provide advice and guidance, regardless of the day or time”.
MrBerry (Headteacher) Since the first day Mrs Wallis visited our school 15 years ago, it has been a delight and a pleasure to have her attend our review meetings for the pupils at Park School. The children love her, the parents love her, and the staff love her too! In happy times and in sad, in fun times and on business, Mrs Wallis has never failed to bring her own personal touch and style to everything she has done at Park School. On occasions Mrs Wallis has found some parts of her work difficult and challenging. This is usually when she has to tell a parent, a carer, fellow professional or even a teacher(!) something they might not want to hear. But she has always managed to do this in such a sensitive and caring way which makes everybody realise that – ‘the children come first’. We will all be very sad to say goodbye to Mrs Wallis when she leaves Park School today and we all hope she will go on to enjoy the freedom and privileges of the next phase of her life which is – RETIREMENT!!! GOODBYE MRS WALLIS
Mrs Wallis has done such a fantastic job that she is definitely our Star of the Week. .
What are my new targets: To spend more time with my family and friends. To travel often. To enjoy my hobbies.
