All About Me • My background • I was born in Ecuador. I have live in New Jersey. • I graduated from at New Jersey City University with a Bachelors degree in Spanish in May of 2006 • In May of 2010 I earned a Masters Degree in Education at Saint Peter’s University with a concentration in Leadership. • In May 2012, I earned a Masters Degreein Spanish Language and Culture from the University of Salamanca in Spain. • My experience This is my 7th year teaching Spanish here at SPHS. During those years I have taught AP Spanish, Spanish 5 Honors as well as Spanish2 and 3 and focused on developing the program for native Spanish speakers. I love the district and hope to be here for a long time.
All About Me Each year, I also make it a priority to immerse my students in Spanish language and culture by traveling to the Repertorio Español in NYC. My Hobbies Reading, running, tennis, soccer and talking with friends and family.

Classroom Rules • Come to class prepared! • RESPECT others and their property. • Listen and follow all directions the first time. • DO YOUR BEST! We discussed these rules as a class and agree that they are all very important in making a class run smoothly.

World Language Department Procedures for evaluation Department Grading Criteria: The marking period average for this course will be determined as follows: Classwork/Participation (15%) Interpretive Mode (22%) Interpretive Quiz (21%) Presentational Mode (20%) Test/Homework* (22%) *Homework qualifier *Homework will count as one test grade. Students who do all their homework will receive 105 as the homework test grade.

Mr. PereroExtra Help Hours • I will be available to provide extra help in the morning and after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In the morning at 7: 15 am to 7:50 am and in the evening at 2:30 pm to 3:04 pm in the room 261.
