Caspa stands for Comparison & Analysis of Special Pupil Attainmentand is the database which holds all the collected P-level data.
Pupils’ attainment is measured nationally in P-levels and National Curriculum levels. These have been collected from participating schools and local authorities to form a growing database of assessments.
Within the CASPA database are trends which show the rates of progresspupils make when compared with pupils of a similar category of need.
We can plot pupils’ P-levels on these trend lines to see whether pupils are making expected levels of progress
The following charts show pupils’ P level results plotted on the trend lineswith all their subject assessments combined and averaged…

In addition to graphs, charts and data on individuals we can produce RAG charts in CASPA to help answer most of thequestionswe have about pupils’ progress and canfiltergroups by key stage, subject and so on
