  3. Preparation? So what have you been doing all along? Are you ready to begin? The On Campus HPAC Process starts now....

  4. By 1 December 2012: Recruit Letters of Recommendation Provide salient information Provide correct Recommendation Form (faculty or non-faculty) Insure HARD COPY submission no later than 1 March 2012

  5. By 1 March 2013: Personal Information Form: 4 page documentation checklist 1 page description of your HPAC essay Applicant Waiver Form description (1 page) and Form (1page) HPAC essay: Here is where you shine, so tell us what you want us to know… and without any limit! They come later.

  7. By 1 March 2013: Request for Clearance, Health Care Professional School, Dean of the College (1 page) Resume—as long as it needs to be Lafayette College Transcript

  8. By April through May 2013: On Campus HPAC Interviews Make an impression Explain any lapses Advance your candidacy Deliver Applicant Authorization to Release HPAC Letter …then…we compose your CLOE!!! VHR, HR, R, RWR, PforC

  9. By June 2013: Register for and take entrance examination MCAT for MD, DO, and DPM GRE for VMD; DAT or OAT… Do Well! Use the HP Portals for applying AMCAS for allopathic schools AACOMAS for osteopathic schools AADSAS for dental schools OptomCAS for optometry schools VMCAS for veterinary schools AACPMAS for podiatry… Adhere to directions/deadlines!

  10. Observe individual school deadlines! Calls for interviews begin July 2013 Interviews begin August 2013 and continue through April 2014 Consider your alternatives; have a backup plan ready!
