  15. “DEMONSTRATE” • Choose one of the VERBS associated with a demonstration of learning, and design or describe an activity in the gymnasium that would give students an opportunity to demonstrate their learning to YOU as the teacher.

  17. CURRICULUM EXPECTATIONS & ACHIEVEMENT LEVELS • General and specific expectations fit into one of the 4 achievement categories: • Understanding of Concepts • Movement skills • Active participation • Communication of required knowledge (page 8-9, Grades 1-8)

Linking EXPECTATIONS and ACHIEVEMENT • Now, go through your list again, and decide which expectations fit in each of the knowledge/skills categories, and place the appropriate letter beside the verb. U = Understanding of concepts M = Movement skills A = Active participation C = Communication • If the expectation fits into more than one category, add the letter
