Seidman, PI The high-strength low-carbon steel NUCu-150, developed at Northwestern University, obtains its excellent strength through small nanometer-sized Cu-rich precipitates. The Local-Electrode Atom-Probe (LEAP™), acquired with NSF support, allows for an atom-by-atom analysis of all phases in this steel.
