  2. Goals & Questions • Goal: Access the usability of Amazon.com • What questions would you ask?

  3. Possible Questions • Effectiveness: Are users able to access the information needed and purchase goods? • Efficiency: How productive are users of the site? • Safety: How do users recover from mistakes? • Utility: Are users able to perform all desired functions

  4. Think-aloud Technique • Using my cell phone, perform the following operations (describe your thoughts as you do them) • Enter 979-575-7886 in my phonebook • Enter LaShon as the contact name • Enter the email address LaShon@tamu.edu under that contact • Add the contact to the ‘cuties’ group • Use the short cut key to find today’s date • Locate the 4th outgoing number called from the phone
