Objectives The goal of this presentation is to share information about national initiatives regarding quality and safety in nursing education (QSEN) and to discuss implications for Nursing Education Participants will: 1. Describe the six competencies of quality and safety 2.Discuss innovative techniques for teaching this content to students and other faculty The VA New England Health Care Network, VISN 1 Continuing Nursing Education Provider Unit is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation 1.5 Contact Hours for Nurses To receive credit for the program the participant must sign in, attend the entire presentation, and complete & submit the evaluation.
