In your Science Journal: • Conifer– a plant that makes seeds inside cones. • Fruit—the part of the plant that contains the seeds. • Life cycle—the series of changes that a living thing goes through during its lifetime. • Seed—the first stage of most plans.
Plants have life cycles: • A life cycle is the series of changes that a living thing goes through during its lifetime. • Seeds are the first stage of most plants. They are produced when pollen is moved from one part of the plant to the other. • Read page 28 in book.
In your Science Journal: Make a Graphic Organizer Life Cycle of a Flowering Plant: Example: a seed is the first stage of most plants.
In your Science workbook: • Read pages 14-15 and answer the questions on page 15.
Tuesday:Planting a mystery seed. • Today you will observe and participate in the process of preparing your own plant life cycle.
