Please review this information and if you have any questions, please see your counselor and/or Ms. Malopsy in C206A (708) 271-4612. Illinois Average Composite is 20.7. The National Average Composite is 21.1. SCORE BREAKDOWN-- Your English score is 20. The English Test contains 75 questions, and you have 45 minutes to complete it. Usage and Mechanics consist of punctuation, grammar, and sentence structure and make up 40 of the questions. • In this section, you answered 26/40 questions correctly. Rhetorical Skills address questions of style and clarity, support, and revision. • In this section, you answered 21/35 questions correctly. Your total correct for the entire test was 47/75 questions.

  6. Your Mathematics score is 16. For the Mathematics Test, you must answer 60 questions in 60 minutes. The test contains pre-algebra, elementary algebra, intermediate algebra, coordinate geometry, plane geometry, and trigonometry. • For the Pre-Algebra and Elementary Algebra questions, you answered 11/24 questions correctly. • For the Intermediate Algebra you answered 5/18 questions correctly. • For the Plane Geometry and Trigonometry questions, you answered 6/18 questions correctly. Your total correct for the entire test was 22/60 questions. Your Reading score is 21. The Reading Test consists of four reading passages - social science, natural science, prose, and humanities – with 10 questions per passage for a total of 40 questions. You have 35 minutes to complete it. • For the social science and natural science passages, you answered 12/20 correctly. • For the prose and humanities passages, you answered 10/20 correctly. Your total correct for the entire test was 22/40 questions. Your Science score is 19. The Science Test consists of 40 questions, which you must answer in 35 minutes. Your total correct for the entire test was 20/40 questions.

In order to improve your PSAE score, you should do the following: • If you are classified as a junior, you should sign up for theACT prep class, which will be offered starting in January. • Use your interim assessment results in English, Math, History and Science to help pinpoint your strengths and weaknesses on the PSAE. • Complete PLATO and KeyTrain PSAE lessons on your own time. • Work diligently in all of your classes- especially core classes • Join the ARC (the TT After School Tutoring Program)
