GOAL #3:A NEW VISION (Promote an Active and Caring Nephrology Community to help those patients and providers with the greatest need!) • Create an Internet-based Natural Disaster response program to help organize and direct worldwide rescue efforts related to nephrology • Support RenalTech, COMGAN and the other “CyberNephrology PLUS” partners!
Work on the cyberNephrology project started at the University of Alberta in Canada
The necessary pieces were gathered, organized, and assembled… Servers, clinical nephrology, broadband, renal pathology images, topics, names, cables, laptops, desktops, hemodialysis, modem, dieticians, telephones, digital imaging systems, videorecorder, nurses, peritoneal dialysis, pre-ESRD, transplant, printers, meetings, meds, antivirus programs, software, faxes, emails, list management, CMEs, conferences, travel, IT specialists, organizers, bone metabolism, funding, labwork, committees, updates, printers, etc., etc., etc.!
