ABOUT SHAREK SHAREK was originally launched in 1996 as A project implemented by the UNDP – PAPP targeting youth development in Palestine . Due to it’s continuous successful work , it become an independent organization , the SHAREK youth forum ,pursing the same objectives in a wider framework . Since it’s funding it has been supported by Swiss agency for development and cooperation
MISSION To contribute to the development of youth through designing and implementing creative youth initiatives, programs and projects and supporting youth by giving them the opportunity to determine their needs and have their voices heard.
VISION To contribute to developing the skills of youth and increasing the participation for rural areas an Economic social cultural and educational life
VOLUNTEERS AT SHAREK Volunteers participated in is the backbone for the implementation of programs and activities and initiatives, which propose themselves, they are also the nerve center of the vibrant give a rosy picture of the Forum and its activities, as a living model of development and the tender, and through them measured the efficiency and effectiveness of performance.
BENEFICIARIES OF SHAREK Youth groups and Palestinian institutions, and beneficiaries between the ages of 14 and even 25 years, believes that the members involved have a major role in determining the needs of young people, to identify problems, and believe in their role in helping to resolve the problems in cooperation with youth organizations,
BENEFICIARIES OF SHAREK municipalities and local governmental and non-governmental organizations. The Forum also cooperates with governmental institutions and civil associations, organizations and clubs, and provides them with support, material and logistical support.

OBJECTIVES 1- Strengthen strategic partnerships between youth organizations and local organizations, and strengthen leadership capacity and institutional infrastructure. 2- Promotion and development of capabilities and initiatives in the youth sector in Palestine. 3- Work in marginalized rural areas, and to give the youth the opportunity to participate, and activate themselves through the activities of the Forum.
OBJECTIVES 4- To reduce the increasing phenomenon of unemployed graduates and young people, particularly among graduates of universities and colleges. 5- Integration and the involvement of Palestinian youths as an actor in the design and implementation of cultural projects and community-based and science. 6- Encourage and support volunteerism in the work culture among young people in Palestine.
OBJECTIVES 7- The promotion of democracy and a culture of dialogue among young people in Palestine. 8- Increase community awareness of local and global issues and the needs of Palestinian youth
WHY WORK WITH AND FOR YOUTH? Constitute the age group of 14-25 years more than half of the population in the Palestinian society Because the present generation of young people and the builders of the future Because the young people suffered from occupation, deprivation and marginalization Because the young people, especially in rural areas are deprived of any services contribute to the development of their situation and their future

FINANCIAL CRISIS EFFECTS Affected the financial crisis mainly to the donor, which has reduced the proportion of funds coming from donors and to reduce the number of projects to less than half
MY OPINION This project is one of the best non-profit projects that provide youth services for young people showing their work in society and I believe that this project is one of the best projects in this area
