  3. TAGS • Like subjects, keywords or categories used to describe “things.” • *Books *Pictures *Movies/DVDs • *Web sites *Songs/CDs *Articles • Created by YOU and how YOU think to describe them (not necessarily a defined set of subject terms).

  5. Library Thing • Utilizing the tagging system, Library Thing is an online service to help people catalog their books easily. • You can access your catalog from anywhere, anytime and even from your mobile phone.

In the future, Library Thing will add some "group" features so members can have separate accounts but one joined library. • Non-profit and not-for-profit organizations (small libraries, churches, clubs, schools, classrooms). Free up to 200 books. $15/year for up to 5,000 books.

  11. PRIVACY and SHARING • What information do I need to give up? • None. Setting up an account only requires a username and a password. Do not even need an email address. • What if I don't want everyone to see what I have in my collection? • You can always choose to make your collection private under the "Edit your profile" on your profile page.
