Based in Gaydon, United Kingdom and reporting to the technical team leader you’ll be responsible for: • Designing wire harnesses and associated electronic components • Preparation of engineering change proposals • Participating in customer and supplier design meetings • Building virtual support • Issuing Management for respective parts • Participating in Value Add/Value Effectiveness (VA/VE) workshops. • You’ll need to bring the following to be a success in this role: • Bachelor/Masters Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering • Fluent in English (verbally and in written) • Knowledge of CAD tool (ideally certified to use CATIA version 5 and Electrical Work Bench) • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and engineering specifications. • Knowledge of Vehicle EDS systems in the 3D environment • Awareness of customer design requirements • It goes without saying, you’ll have the following skills and attributes • Strong interpersonal & communication skills • Methodical approach in analyzing and solve problems • High stress tolerance, peaks of high workload. • Being a team player and self motivated SEATING ELECTRICAL Get in the drivers seat now and start your career If you desire a challenging work environment and want an opportunity to make a difference, please submit your CV in English language to ukcareers@lear.com.
